Hi everyone! My name is Isabella Altamirano, and I’m a senior in high school. I’m part of a veterinary magnet program and proudly serve as the President of both my FFA Chapter and my FFA District. This year, I’ve been given the amazing opportunity to raise my second market steer—and since it’s my last year, I want to give it my all and end with a bang!

Raising a steer is an incredible experience, but it’s also a huge responsibility and expense. As the sole caretaker of my steer, I cover everything from feed, tack, grooming supplies, and medical care to show equipment and cooling fans (a must in the brutal South Florida heat).

Last year, I learned so much, and now I want to go above and beyond—giving my steer the very best care possible while pushing myself to exceed what I accomplished before. But I can’t do it alone.

Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward my project and help me finish my senior year strong with something I can truly be proud of.

¡Hola a todos! Mi nombre es Isabella Altamirano y estoy en mi último año de secundaria. Formo parte de un programa magnet veterinario y tengo el honor de servir como Presidenta de mi capítulo de FFA y también como Presidenta de mi distrito de FFA. Este año tengo la increíble oportunidad de criar mi segundo novillo de mercado, y al ser mi último año quiero darlo todo y terminar con broche de oro.

Criar un novillo es una experiencia maravillosa, pero también implica una gran responsabilidad y muchos gastos. Como única cuidadora de mi novillo, yo cubro todo: alimento, equipo, suministros de cuidado y veterinarios, además de materiales para exposiciones y ventiladores (que son esenciales con el fuerte calor del sur de la Florida).

El año pasado aprendí muchísimo, y ahora quiero superar todo lo que logré, dándole a mi novillo el mejor cuidado posible mientras me esfuerzo al máximo en mi último año. Pero no puedo hacerlo sola.

Cada donación, grande o pequeña, irá directamente a mi proyecto y me ayudará a terminar mi año senior con un logro del cual sentirme verdaderamente orgullosa.
