<div>We are heartbroken to share the tragic loss of Laura Ruben, a beloved mother, teacher, and friend, who lost her life in a senseless act of domestic violence. Laura's husband took her life before taking his own, leaving behind her two beautiful daughters, Abigail Grace (14) and Oaklyn Rae (2), who now face a future without their loving mother; Oaklyn parentless.

Her impact on the community was profound, and she was cherished by all who knew her. Colorado was Laura's happy place, and it is devastating that her journey there was cut so short.
