On what should have been a day of joy, my dear close friend who is like a sister to me received life-altering news. We are so sad to say Nicole lost her husband. On his 44th birthday in 2021, he was diagnosed with stage 3 esophageal cancer. Despite the initial shock, they faced the diagnosis with hope and determination, believing in the power of treatment and the strength of their love.

Tragically, by November 2023, the cancer had advanced to stage 4, spreading to his brain. Watching him fight this battle with immense courage was both heartbreaking and inspiring. He faced each day with resilience, even as the toll of the disease grew heavier.

Two days before his 47th birthday, he passed away, leaving behind a devoted wife and a daughter, Adriana, who loved him dearly. The void he leaves in their lives is profound, and his family is heartbroken.
