Hi, I’m Penny, and I had the honor of being Brian’s partner from 2017 until his passing on January 13, 2024. For two years, Brian fought his illness with strength, resilience, and a heart full of love. Even on his toughest days, he stayed positive, never wanting others to worry.

Brian was more than just a friend or loved one—he was a pillar of Highland Park . He dedicated years of service to Donaldson Park & Johnson Park, always putting his heart into the community. Though he didn’t want a formal memorial, I want to keep his memory alive in the place he loved most.

I am raising funds to place memorial plaques on benches in Donaldson & Johnson Parks —a space where friends, family, and the community can sit, reflect, and feel Brian’s presence.
