If you have been bass fishing the Peconic River in the past few years, you might have said to yourself at one time or another, "I wish it were as good as it used to be." Long Island Kayak Bass Fishing is working hard to do just that! Our goal is to work with the DEC of Long Island and get the Peconic River back to a great fishery! Not only for our organization but for our youth and the future of our sport! We are raising money to benefit the bass population on the Peconic River and hope to grow it into a fantastic fishery again!

LIKBF has secured a stocking permit for five years starting in 2021. The first initial stocking is set for the spring of 2023.
