Help Offset the Ennis & Roark Family's Unexpected Expenses
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Hannah Ingram. I'm fundraising for our hard-working Barter Theatre Head of Maintenance, Will Ennis.
The start of 2024 was a very hard one for Will Ennis & his family. On January 20, Will lost his beloved mother, Flossie Ennis. Then, mere days later, Will & his family lost their adult son Adam "Paco" Roark after a sudden, unforeseen illness. Will, his wife Lisa, and all of their family are still reeling from the shock.
True to form, Will has not missed a beat, spearheading Barter's tightly scheduled Gilliam Stage renovation and taking the many related obstacles in stride. We only wish Adam could have been working by his side. Will acknowledges that it has been incredibly difficult, but he is grateful for the support and love from the Barter family.
In speaking with Will, I learned that the funeral expenses are what keep him up at night. The cost of both funerals in such a short time was a great strain, plus Adam's illness was sudden & unexpected. A family member was able to lend the money up front, for which Will & his family are incredibly grateful... but Will is worried about how he will pay it all back.
For all the many ways (seen & unseen) that Will Ennis has helped make Barter Theatre stronger through the years, we are deeply appreciative. But his strength and hard work since January during such a difficult time is unmatched.
Please donate any amount you can spare to help Will & his family pay back the expenses of saying goodbye to their loved ones. It's hard enough to say goodbye. Each dollar you donate will help ease the worried mind of a man who continues on every day to keep Barter Theatre alive and thriving even while his heart is broken.
