Donate to help the Beisser Family

On the evening of Saturday, September 3, the Madison Fire Department responded to a fire at the home of Matt, Sujhey, Josh and Miranda Beisser. The family was away at the time and no one was hurt. The fire destroyed one bedroom and smoke damage to the rest of the home was substantial. The family has been told to expect that they'll need to live elsewhere for the next 2-3 months while restoration crews work to repair the damage and salvage as much personal property as they can.

The Beissers have touched the lives of countless people in Madison and elsewhere. There is hardly a child at St. Dennis Catholic School that hasn't been helped by Matt at some point, which speaks nothing to the work and hours he has personally put in at the school and church to help them succeed. He has also donated his time (and sometimes money) to help the Capital East Soccer Club. Similarly, Sujhey has donated thousands of hours of her personal time to help make Madison a better community, including with Centro Hispano and the Madison Public Market Foundation.

Here' s where you come in. The Beissers have selflessly donated their time, energy and resources in ways that many of us have benefitted from, either directly or indirectly. Please consider giving back to help them as they recover from the fire that destroyed part of their home and many of their belongings.
