<div>On October 25, our lives changed forever when our  son, brother, uncle, nephew, boyfriend, and friend, Jacob, was in a terrible accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down.

<div>Jacob is only 17 — full of life, laughter, and dreams — and overnight he went from walking and joking with us to facing one of the toughest battles of his life. He has since undergone major spinal surgery and is now working closely with his medical and rehabilitation teams to regain as much independence and strength as possible.

<div>Through everything, Jacob’s spirit has been nothing short of inspiring. Even in pain, he’s still smiling, cracking jokes, and showing us what true courage looks like. He truly is our warrior — strong, determined, and full of heart.

<div>The road ahead will be long and filled with challenges — months of rehab, specialized equipment, home modifications, and medical expenses that go far beyond what’s covered. Our family is doing everything we can, but we’re asking for help from those who love and support Jacob to ease the financial burden and help him focus fully on healing.

<div>Our goal is to raise $40,000 to help support Jacob’s recovery and independence as he begins this new chapter in life. Funds will go toward medical equipment, rehabilitation, home modifications, and the ongoing care he’ll need as he learns to adapt to life with a spinal cord injury. Every donation, big or small, brings Jacob one step closer to comfort, strength, and freedom.
