UPDATE!!!

Nico is getting better, she is out of the hospital and is home recovering.

Thankfully she is eating on her own now at a slow pace but it’s better than nothing which means she won’t be getting a feeding tube.

Hi Everyone,

I'm Nico's mommy, and Nico has always been a cheerful, beautiful girl ever since the day I adopted her and her sister.

They were 2-year-old ginger sisters who were not getting adopted because they were a little older, but when I saw them, I knew they were my babies.

I decided to adopt them together because I could not imagine a world with them being separated.

For this reason, I'm here today. Nico has been ill for about 2 weeks now. We have been in and out of the animal hospital for days. They have done so many tests on her and are planning on doing more, but I got the news today that if she doesn't show any signs of improvement, she will need to be transferred to a specialist for intensive care, which will involve a feeding tube for her to be able to eat. Right now, I have been taking off work to care for her, hoping she gets better.
