Hey my name’s John Gabriele and I am writing this to help raise money for one of my absolute bestfriend’s Samantha Clifton to help her cover bills and other expenses while her fiancé Jake Traenkner is recovering from a near fatal car wreck. Jake was driving home on the highway from work on December 15th when a truck crossed into his lane and hit him head on, pushing his car into the guardrail. Jake had to be extracted from his car which then they were going to medivac him by helicopter but it would have taken too long so they rushed him to Crozer Hospital. When he arrived he had to undergo multiple emergency surgeries, in which, he lost his kidney & almost lost his spleen. He had broken both of his legs, needed a metal rod in his femurs, broken both hands, broke a few ribs & sustained a fractured jaw, which he had to have wired shut for a few weeks. Jake has been recovering from his injuries for almost 2 months now and has been moved to a rehab facility in Philadelphia to help him learn how to do basic functions again. Sam has done an amazing job being at the hospital and rehab every step of the way, while working full time as a pediatric nurse, running the house, taking care of the animals, taking care of the bills, and going to school to become a Nurse Practitioner! Jake has made a great recovery so far, but he still has a long way to go!!! Thank you for your generous donations!!
