<div>Hi, we are making this go fund me for our dad, Ruben, who was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Recently, he was admitted to the hospital after his oxygen levels dropped. Sadly, the damage has caused him to need a lung transplant. With the damaged caused by the Pulmonary Fibrosis a transplant is the only option left to try to save him. This go fund me is to raise money for his operation and to help with costs for a place to stay with our mom during his surgery and recovery out of town. Our mom is the only one able to work now and due to this diagnosis she will not be able to work so she can take care of our dad during the long road to recovery. It will take several months for his recovery. He was a dedicated employee at Green Bay West High School as a hall monitor/security and then later working in Baird Elementary School in maintenance working for the Green Bay Area Public Schools for around 27 years. He is also an avid gardener and loves being active and outdoors. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis in January of 2022 after years of being misdiagnosed since 2016. He is a father to 8 kids and he is an amazing Papa Ruben to his grandkids. Ever since we were growing up our dad has always been there with us, in every step of the way. Even now as we all grew up into adulthood he is still here guiding us and giving us advice for our future. He also supports us in our future endeavors.
