<div>Na madrugada de domingo, um incêndio destruiu o primeiro andar do pavilhão da Associação Desportiva e Recreativa de Casal da Misarela (ADRCM), em Torres do Mondego, Coimbra. O fogo começou numa das salas do 1 andar e espalhou-se rapidamente, causando estragos avaliados em pelo menos 50 000 euros, estando ainda em avaliação a possibilidade de danos estruturais no edifício, que podem encarecer a recuperação ascendendo a mais de 100.000 euros.

<div>Este pavilhão é um símbolo da comunidade: foi construído pelo povo e é gerido há quase 20 anos por um grupo de mulheres dedicadas, que recuperaram uma associação que estava prestes a fechar. Com dedicação, trabalho voluntário e união, estas mulheres transformaram a ADRCM num espaço cheio de vida, dinamismo e eventos que reúnem toda a aldeia — crianças, jovens, adultos e idosos.

<div>In the early hours of Sunday, a fire destroyed the first floor of the Sports and Recreation Pavilion of the Associação Desportiva e Recreativa de Casal da Misarela (ADRCM), in Torres do Mondego, Coimbra. The fire began in rhe 1st floor and spread rapidly, causing damages estimated at least over €50,000, still being assessed for structural damage, which can raise the funds needed, with the possibility of ascending  over 100.000 euros

<div>This pavilion is a true community landmark: it was built by local residents and has been run for nearly 20 years almost entirely by a group of dedicated women. These women revived an association that was once close to shutting down and transformed it into a vibrant, dynamic space filled with activities, events, and gatherings for all generations.

<div>Now, the association faces a major setback. Losing the pavilion means more than losing a building — it threatens the community spirit that these women have worked tirelessly to preserve for two decades.
