Keep the Aia Open:
Since 2016 the Aia has been a happy place for many a traveler. For those of you who have been to the Aia, and many of you have been, you know it’s more than just an Agriturismo. In the years that I have been operating the Aia, on more than one occasion friends have met, fallen in love- and even gotten married. People from all around the world have come whether as guests or volunteers. I love the Aia, I always say it’s by third baby. And it really is! There is a lot that goes into managing a property, including the agricultural aspects. Which didn’t come easy for a city girl. The joy it has brought me and my guests over the years is an end unto itself. Then this past August the music stopped when tragedy struck at the Aia. I will spare you the heartbreaking details. Now contending with the financial aftermath is severe and I fear puts Aia’s future on the line. I have considered selling and moving on, but when I look deep inside I know it’s not what speaks true to my heart. I believe Aia can and will bounce back and will continue to be a place where people connect. It’s the very thing we need the most during this unique time in history - connection!
