It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of my mother’s diagnosis with stage 3 'Breast Cancer'. My mother is a retired teacher, and my father is also a teacher. We are two brothers, my younger brother is a student who is still unemployed. I was supporting my father with my income from freelance work, however, our income is not enough to support the family and medical expenses. As you know, the salary of a teacher is low in Nepal.

Talking about my mother, she is more of a spiritually inclined person who often helped people in need and was always up for volunteering and social work. She was formerly a teacher and gave half of her life educating students. She is currently being treated at Nepal Cancer Hospital, and has been battling cancer strongly despite facing lots of health complications. Cancer treatment is quite expensive, as she is currently being treated with chemotherapy.

After the completion of her 8th Chemo cycle, she will have breast surgery and undergo radiation therapy. The total cost of her treatment is beyond our financial reach, despite exhausting all our contacts and resources.
