<div>Hi, my name is Shani. I’m raising funds to support underprivileged kids and families in Sri Lanka — children who sometimes don’t even have one meal a day. My dream is to help them access education and provide the basics they need so they can break the cycle of poverty they were born into.

<div>Coming from a Sri Lankan background, I visit Sri Lanka with my own children, who were born and raised in Australia, so they can experience a different side of life that exists on this diverse planet of ours. On every visit, we try to make even a small difference for those in need.

<div>In the past, we’ve provided school supplies and food parcels to children in two rural schools. I funded this myself through garage sales and selling my own handmade jewellery. Now, after 10 years, we are returning to Sri Lanka at the end of 2025, and I want to expand this work and help even more kids and families.
