The Secchi Disk study involves people of all ages around the world with fun, hands-on marine science to inspire and educate while they collect valuable data to increase our knowledge of the oceans' most important biology, the phytoplankton that underpin the marine food chain. Today, these tiny, sea surface, plant-like algae are altering in abundance and distribution due to climate change.
