Hi, my name is Pati. I was 6 months younger than my uncle Tom, and we grew up together as brother and sister until drugs took over Tom's life. He was living in a tent in Middletown and refused help from anyone in his family.

Yesterday, he lost this battle he has been fighting within himself for many years. He froze to death and now we have to find a way to have him cremated.

I can pitch in some, as can some others in the family, but no one has the funds to cover it completely. If you can find it in your heart to donate so we can have him cremated and spread on his mom and dad's graves so he can finally be back with family, we would greatly appreciate any help you can give.

Any money not used for the cremation will be donated to a local organization that feeds the homeless and less fortunate. I am leaning towards Miami Valley Meals as the organization.
