Donate to Help Claude Gillioz, Luthier

Corpus Christi has not had a true luthier in the city since the 1980s — until Mr. Claude Gillioz of CG Violins moved to the city and opened up his shop.

A few weeks ago, Claude was violently attacked and robbed at his shop and he has not been able to work since. He was hospitalized and had to have stitches on his throat. Part of his violin shop’s stock was stolen as well and he does not know how much of it will be replaced by insurance. He is slowly recovering physically and mentally, but needs help with his medical bills and business expenses. The police have no leads at this time, so Claude’s attacker remains at large. Please consider a donation for him and his family so he can pay his bills and continue to provide his excellent luthiery skills to the people of Corpus Christi and South Texas.
