Hi guys, my name is Nari and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of Asmahan and her family in Gaza. As you all know, the situation there is getting worse, and there has been a blockade for months now. There has been no aid that has gotten in and the prices are very high. I'll post a few words from Asmahan herself so you all get to know her story. 
 
"My name is Asmahan, an engineering student from Gaza. I come from a large family, and we are living under extremely difficult conditions. We have lost everything in our lives — my home, my job, my education, and even members of my family because of the war. 
 
I am now in a critical situation after everything was destroyed. I need help to rebuild my life and the lives of my family. You are the light in my darkness. I currently live in a tent that does not protect me from the cold winter, and I struggle to find food in the midst of famine. 
 
I want to rebuild my home and my life to protect myself and my large family from the bitter winter. We once lived a beautiful life, but now we have nothing — everything vanished in a moment. Even if the war ends, my suffering will not end unless I find a home that shelters me and my family once again. 
 
Please, do not ignore my story. I am living the hardest days of my life, and I cannot do anything on my own. I speak to everyone who holds humanity in their heart. 
 
I am an engineer who once had ambitions and dreams. I want to rebuild everything and make my country beautiful again. I want to become a well-known engineer. You may not realize it, but even a small amount you contribute here can bring joy to someone and help rebuild a life."
