We are a working poor family desperate to rise above the devastating loss suffered on May 24 long weekend of 2022 here in Ottawa. We lost everything from damages due to fallen trees, flooding and tornado like winds.

After Covid we sank what little was left into a new business to move forward. The storm literally ripped not only all the materials, tools and completed products already sold, shop included, most of our belongings in/out of house from flooding, but also our hopes and dreams and especially our chances at a humble future.

We are not greedy people, but modest and live simple quiet lives .

We have worked hard through many losses and are generally proud people.

This time we have no choice but to beg for the kindness and generosity of anyone who can spare a dollar to help crowdfund us into a position that will give us a fighting chance.

We are hanging on by our fingernails to avoid homelessness and loss of a future we have worked hard for.

Our insurance is limited and won't cover the business contents as we were only days into production and it is not yet listed on our policy.

If fortunate we can hopefully receive recovery of some articles lost in the flooding/ extended hydro loss, however we are looking at a fight and more time than we have to wait for an answer.

We beg your consideration in helping us save ourselves.

We cannot do it alone this time and are asking help from ALL who have crossed paths with us and then some!
