Donate to help Adeleye Ademiku get his surgery
Ademiku has been suffering from Spinal Nerve Compression Syndrome for 7 years, more than a quarter of his life. No one knows the reason for the wedge collapse on his T10. He was diagnosed at OAUTHC and at ABUAD Teaching Hospital where they carried out tests including FBC, ESR, Mantoux, MRI in 2018 and 2021 respectively. He was informed that neither of these hospitals could treat him but should look into treatment at LUTH, he did with no success.
Ademiku is in dire need of medical help overseas and we hope you will find it in your heart to give to cover his medical expenses. Ademiku is a 26-year-old Food Science and Technology graduate from the Federal University of Technology Akure. Despite his condition, he has been relentless to continue moving and honing his distinct leadership skills, he has served as Director of Class of 2021 at Millennium Fellowship , a United Nations Academic Impact + Millennium Campus Network collaboration. He has also been involved with Helping Hand International , Leap Africa, AYECBA , among others.
He is entrepreneurial and currently freelances in transcription, website design and email marketing.
Spinal Nerve Compression Syndrome is a painful, debilitating illness. Ademiku constantly has severe pain and weakness in his left side, inner thigh and leg, making it very painful to walk or get in a chair. He experiences constant and severe excretory discomfort. This syndrome if left untreated can lead to Cauda Equina Syndrome incontinence and possibly permanent paralysis of the legs.
Spinal Nerve Compression Syndrome is treatable with medicine, therapy or surgery. Please help Ademiku, he needs your help now.
In his search for affordable medical help, he came across Naruvi Hospital in Vellore, India. They have reviewed his medical tests and scans and have proposed a treatment plan, see attached.
The estimated cost of the treatment plan ranges from $4,500 to $9000. With travel and accommodation, he’ll need about $11,000. Friends, family and generous people who have heard of his story have raised about $3,500 and another family reached out with a $3,500 donation, making a total of $7,000.
He still needs about $4,000 in order to travel and start his treatment, would you please help?
