<div>Adam is my best friend, my soulmate, my world. We met in our early 20s, and from that moment, my life felt complete ❤️. He’s an incredible dad to our two boys, who adore him. We simply can’t imagine life without him.

<div>Adam has always been the rock of our family. When I was critically ill two years ago with leptospirosis, double pneumonia, and organ failure, it was Adam who held everything together—caring for me, looking after our boys, keeping his business going, and still supporting others who relied on him.

<div>This year, our world has been turned upside down. Adam had been suffering with severe joint pain but carried on working as a landscaper to provide for us. At first, he put it down to wear and tear from the job. But the pain worsened until he could no longer keep going. Tests followed, and then came the devastating news: Adam has cancer.

<div>Adam has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer that isn’t curable but is treatable. It causes his bone marrow to produce faulty cells, thickening his blood and straining his kidneys, while also damaging his bones—sometimes irreversibly.

<div>Treatment began immediately, and Adam is also on the RADAR trial, which means extra appointments, tests, and monitoring. He’s already completed several rounds of chemotherapy, each cycle lasting four weeks, and it’s taken a huge toll. Soon, he will face an even tougher stage of treatment: a stem cell transplant that will require up to eight weeks in hospital, leaving him extremely vulnerable but giving the best chance of remission.

<div>Physically, emotionally, and mentally, this has been life-changing. Adam has always been strong, fit, and full of energy—up at the crack of dawn and working hard to build the business he’s so proud of. Now, chronic fatigue and reduced strength are daily struggles. On top of this, he worries about how we’ll cope financially, as he is our only breadwinner.

<div>Travel costs, bills, and everyday expenses don’t stop for cancer. Financial support is limited, and the uncertainty is overwhelming. What I want most is for Adam to go through this ordeal with as little extra stress as possible—and for us to create a few positive, precious family memories along the way.
