<div>Help Me Rebuild My Life &amp; Provide Stability for My Children

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My name is Clara, and I am reaching out during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. I never imagined I would have to share my story publicly, but I am doing this for one reason only.. my children. I am fighting to rebuild stability, safety, and a future for them after surviving years of domestic abuse and the devastating consequences that followed.

</div>

<div>How Everything Fell Apart

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>For years, I lived in a cycle of abuse with my ex-partner. The emotional, physical, and financial control slowly stripped away my independence, my support system, and ultimately my home and career. Because of the abuse, the state became involved with my children, not once, but twice. Each time, I fought with everything in me to meet every requirement, attend every appointment, and show my children that I would never give up on them. But the challenges kept piling up.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Despite having a court-ordered Domestic Violence Protective Order (DVPO), my ex repeatedly violated it. His actions not only put me in danger, but caused me to lose possession of the home that we co-own. Even though I legally own half the home, I have been unable to live there due to court restrictions and he refuses to sell it or buy me out. I cannot afford an attorney to fight the case, so I have been trapped, homeless, while technically owning a home I cannot access.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The Jobs I Lost Because of Abuse

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My ex took the keys to my vehicle multiple times, leaving me unable to get to work or take my children to daycare. I was fired from multiple jobs, not because I wasn’t a good employee, but because I had no way to physically get there. I tried to keep going, but without transportation, childcare, or safety, everything kept collapsing.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>No Support &amp; Far From Home ❤️‍

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I am originally from New Zealand. My dad cut off contact out of fear after my ex threatened him and came to his home to destroy property. I felt completely alone.

</div>

<div>To try to stay close to my children during the case, I moved into a small one bedroom I could barely afford. Because my mortgage is $600, the rent I paid elsewhere pushed me into paying almost double that each month. I had no car, so I had to Uber everywhere, including to every visitation meeting with my children. Bringing food, drinks, and anything they needed. I did everything I could, but eventually, I lost my job again and became homeless.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Facing Losing My Children Forever

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>After more than a year of doing everything the state asked, I was told my children could be put up for guardianship or adoption because they had been in care for over a year. It broke me... I begged the social workers to let me move into their paternal grandmother’s home since I had nowhere else to go. They assessed her home, did a background check, and finally approved it. Because of that, my children and I are now being reunited, even though I am still unemployed and recovering from the devastation of the past few years.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My Health Challenges

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I have polyneuropathy, which makes it hard to stand or walk for long periods. That’s why I have always worked remotely or sought call-center jobs that don’t require physical strain. Without reliable transportation, it is impossible to get to job interviews, medical appointments, or take my children to and from school.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Why I’m Asking for Help❓❔

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I am humbly asking for help to raise funds so I can:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Buy a reliable car

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Get to work and secure stable employment

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Attend all my children’s appointments and school needs

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Break free from the cycle of homelessness and dependency

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Give my children the safe, stable home they deserve

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>All I want is a chance to rebuild!! Not just for myself, but for my children who have already endured so much. A car would give me mobility, independence, safety, and most importantly, the ability to maintain stability for my kids.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Anything Helps

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Whether you donate, share my story, or simply send a kind message every bit helps more than you know. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for helping me move toward healing, safety, and a future where my children can finally feel secure again.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for believing in us.

</div>
