My name is Joseph and I would like to share a story. On a scorching mid-July day, I found Frosty, a 12-year-old black and white Siberian Husky, shaky and near death from her desperate search for a loving home. She leapt into my van, trusting me instantly—a moment that melted my heart. Frosty’s owner, her devoted human, was tragically taken by fate. Her partner tried to care for her but moved in with someone whose aggressive dog attacked Frosty, leaving her terrorized in a hot garage. Rehoming failed, so Frosty took matters into her own paws, roaming until exhaustion nearly claimed her.

With her tag, I contacted her owner, who shared her story and thanked me for helping. Overwhelmed, he nearly cried when I offered Frosty a home with me and my dogs, Sophia and Chip. Now safe, she’s improved dramatically in five days of TLC, but at 12, she needs vet care: UTI treatment, ear infections, hip issues, and bad teeth that I know of. With proper care, she can regain the quality of life she deserves.

All senior dogs deserve love in their final days. I’m raising $1,200 for Frosty’s vet bills, any remaining funds will be used for future rescues.
