<div>As many of you may already know, Farmer was recently diagnosed with throat cancer that has spread to a lymph node. What began as a routine physical in April quickly turned serious when his doctor noticed a swollen gland that wouldn’t go away. This led to a CT scan, ENT appointments, and two biopsies confirming oropharyngeal cancer.

<div>During that process, a sore on his lip that wasn’t healing was also biopsied and found to be squamous cell carcinoma—the same type of cancer found in his throat.

<div>We’re grateful this was caught early, but the diagnosis has brought major emotional and financial challenges for Farmer and Cheryl. Starting in mid-June, Farmer will undergo seven weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. The treatment will take a physical toll, and he will be unable to work during this time due to the demanding nature of his job.
