HELLO! On July 29th, 2025, K9 Caesar was retired from his law enforcement agency at just 4 years old after being diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease in one of the discs in his back. Caesar began serving his community in 2022. Unfortunately for some K9s, once relieved of duty, their medical expenses fall solely of the responsibility of their handler. This GoFundMe has been set up in hopes of raising money to go towards Caesar’s surgery that he will need to fix and repair his disc. At this time, Caesar is in NO PAIN and is thriving in his retirement. He's receiving lots of belly rubs, love, and good old-fashioned rest and relaxation. Caesar's responsibilites included, but were not limited to, public outreach demonstrations, search and rescue, suspect apprehension, drug detection, and the occasional 3:00am dog therapy for us crazy night shifters.
