<div>Sole Providers was created in 2006 with the mission to provide shoes for students in need. Since then, this incredible non-profit has provided over 2,500 pairs of shoes to children from early childhood to high school age within the Poplar Bluff School District. Nurses and counselors within the school district will identify a child in need and reach out to the team at Sole Providers. They purchase a pair of socks and shoes in the correct size and deliver the shoes back to the school. They have purchased over 100 pairs of shoes each year. They have even helped students purchase speciality shoes required to enter culinary school and building trades. They’ve operated solely on private donations and have never had to advertise—until now. With the new school year quickly approaching, funds are running low, and the need in our community continues to grow. If you’re able to help, please consider donating.
