<div>We are making reusable period products for girls in Sub-Saharan Africa. Many girls do not have access to pads and have to miss school month after month. In some villages, the lowest quality sanitary pads cost $1.20 a pack, which is more than what a family may earn in a week.

<div>We provide each girl with a period kit. Each period kit includes:

<li>Reusable menstrual pads
</li>
<li>Waterproof washable pouch (to carry a clean pad and bring back a soiled pad)
</li>
<li>Drying strap that can attach several pads for drying
</li>
</ul>

<div>We are partnering with non-profits in Comoros, Uganda, Tanzania, Botswana and Ghana to distribute period kits. We have volunteers sewing reusable pads and pouches.
