We’re reaching out to ask for your support for our dear friend Miguel, who recently faced a serious and unexpected medical emergency.

Miguel was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal pain and was diagnosed with diverticulitis. During his treatment, doctors discovered a mass, and he had to undergo emergency surgery. As part of the procedure, he now has a colostomy bag and faces a long road to recovery, including another surgery in the coming months to reverse it.

After spending a week in the hospital, we're so grateful that Miguel is stable and being discharged. But his journey is far from over. He will be out of work for the next few months, focusing on healing and preparing for future medical procedures. In the meantime, the financial strain of everyday expenses, medical bills, and recovery supplies is quickly adding up.

We’re starting this fundraiser to help Miguel stay afloat financially while he heals. The funds will go toward:

Rent and basic living expenses while he’s out of work

Supplies related to his post-surgery care
