Hi all, it recently came to my attention that one of my incredible coworkers has fallen on extremely hard times. She is a single mom of two and is one of the most genuine and hardworking people I have ever come across. Her mother recently had a stroke and because of this, lost her job and healthcare coverage. My coworker is now responsible for her mother’s care and her two children. Her mother’s medications and care are costing her $2000 per month, and she is now at risk of losing her home or not being able to afford her mother’s medications.

Because she is very proud and such a true survivor, I know she would never ask for help. But I’m a firm believer that help shouldn’t only be given to those who ask. At this point, I’m sure any amount given as a gift to her would be such a relief. So if you have $1 or anything that you would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate it. I’ve set the goal at $5000 in hopes of giving her some breathing room for a few months for her mother’s medications and care.
