<div>Hello, my name is Sarah, and I am Kaylee’s mom. <strong>Kaylee had gallbladder removal surgery on 4/16/25.</strong> During that procedure, the doctors learned that she had a gallstone blocking her common bile duct, requiring a second procedure. She went in for that procedure on Monday, 5/11/25. A simple outpatient procedure turned into a life-threatening condition. <strong>Six hours postop, Kaylee was admitted for severe pancreatitis.</strong> This past week, her condition has been declining, being hit with complication after complication. She is currently on oxygen with left-sided pleural effusion and collapsed lungs in bilateral lower lobes, along with an enlarged heart and excruciating pain. The nurses are struggling to control her heart rate and pain.

<div>Most of you know KK has already had a really rough past six months. After losing her Papa in December, she was involved in a car accident. The day before flying back to California for his service, a crazy woman rear-ended her while she was 30 weeks pregnant. Her car was a total loss, she injured her back, and started having problems with uncontrolled hypertension. She ended up getting diagnosed with preeclampsia and having to deliver baby Everett prematurely at 34 weeks. Baby Everett needed a little extra support and had to stay in the NICU for four weeks. All of this happened while not having a reliable vehicle to visit her son. This was a very trying time for their family as Tucker was not able to take any time away from work due to their financial obligations.

<div>Shortly after they got to bring the baby home, KK became ill and went to the ER. That is when she learned that she needed her gallbladder removed. The day before her surgery, she learned that the baby would also require surgery to repair his laryngomalacia the week after her surgery. Little did she know she was going to require a second procedure or end up with pancreatitis. It has been a hardship for her not to have a vehicle, and now this little family is facing an even bigger financial burden on top of everything else as Tucker has had to stay home to take care of their two-month-old baby. Their medical bills are stacking up. <strong>We are just asking that you help in any way that you can, even if it is just to share this GoFundMe to help ease some of this burden as she is trying to recover.</strong> As we all know, it is hard enough to live in today’s world, paying rent, food, gas bills, etc., even with two incomes.
