Hi friends — I’m reaching out because someone I care deeply about is going through a really tough time right now, I know they’d never ask for help themselves… so I’m doing it for them.

Emily and her family have hit a really hard spot — Within the last few weeks Emily was in the ER 8 times, hospitalized for 4 days, went into sepsis from a life-threatening infection in her blood and uterus which caused the miscarriage of her twin pregnancy unexpectedly.. she ended up needing surgery, as well as encountering heart complications the week after. With Emily being out of work unpaid for these medical issues, the rising costs and unexpected medical bills on top of everything else have now snowballed, forcing them to face financial stress on top of the emotional exhaustion this has already caused them.. they’ve been doing everything possible to keep things afloat, but when you’re trying to put out one fire, another one sparks, and eventually, even the strongest people run out of buckets.
