<div>My name is Theresa and I am raising funds for my sister, Crystal, in her journey to defeat brain cancer.

<div>Crystal experienced a severe migraine and blurry vision, which landed her a trip to Urgent Care on April 17th. There, they did a CT scan where they noticed an abnormality on the left side of her brain. She was immediately sent to the ED, and an MRI confirmed the presence of a tumor. Thankfully, it was operable, and Crystal bravely underwent an Awake Craniotomy on May 2nd, where her neurosurgeon, Dr. Sweeney, had a successful resection, and the tumor was sent to pathology for further analysis.

<div>Pathology came back as a Grade Three Astrocytoma IDH mutant tumor, and treatment plans include radiation and chemotherapy. Outside of this treatment plan, Crystal will consistently need labs and MRIs throughout to monitor her progress.

<div>Since her diagnosis, Crystal has been on disability leave from work, but medical expenses continue to add up throughout treatment and recovery. Majority of these donations will go towards her surgery, treatments, and IVF journey since chemotherapy can cause infertility.

<div>Through it all, Crystal has faced every challenge with incredible strength and grace. I am incredibly proud of my little sister. Crystal has been surrounded with love and support from friends, family, and more. I want to thank each and every person that has been keeping her in their prayers!
