Hi, I don’t have a name yet, but I was found outside with an eye infection and a ruptured left eye. The vet says I have a low success rate of surviving anesthesia at my age, so I have to wait until 10 weeks to get surgery to remove my left eye. I will remain on pain meds and receive eye drops until then, which average $130 every time they have to be renewed, and my surgery is going to cost roughly $1500.
