From a small circle of Claire’s friends to all of her “Muffins” (aka friends).

Dear Friends/Muffins of Claire Bloom Benedek:

Many of you know that Claire has been valiantly fighting cancer for the past 2 years and four months. Due to how sick the chemo made her, she had to give up her dog sitting and her directing. Then in April of 2024, she moved into hospice care.

All of us have been the receiver of Claire’s spirit: her cooking, her love of dogs, her theatrical performances, her writing, her laughter, her political passion, her love of books, her kindness, and her friendship. She has touched all of us, and we are all so much better for it!

As you can imagine, the great care that Claire has been getting at a private facility hasn’t been cheap. I am reaching out to you for help so she can stay in this facility where she is safe and comfortable. Claire is receiving some social security, but it is not enough. Any amount you can donate will be truly appreciated.
