<div>On December 25, 2024, at 7:26 pm, my mother, <strong>Virginia "Jenny" Amend</strong>, passed away peacefully following a long and valiant battle with chronic kidney and heart disease.

<div>For the past 10 years, she was receiving dialysis treatment three times a week. Due to her medical history and several declining health conditions, she was denied life/burial insurance and the ability to work. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She loved baking, playing board/card games, and spending time with her family and friends. To know her was to love her due to her genuine kindness and generosity for others.
