Hi, my name is Joshua, and I am fundraising to celebrate Africa Day at The Book Club.
Emerald Book Club CIC is a not-for-profit organization that helps people bring out their creativity through publishing stories, books and literature.
 
African Unity Day, also known as Africa day is celebrated annually on May 25th. It commemorates the founding of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU)
 
Therefore, we combine the two and celebrate Africa's diverse and rich culture and the world through literature, traditional attires, food, and much more.
 
The funds raised will be used to help pay for the caterers, transport, decorations, performers, and the general organization of the event
