<div>Just a few months ago, <strong>Carlo was blindsided with the diagnosis of cancer in his bladder</strong>. Within weeks of his first doctor visit, there were urgent procedures to understand the extent of what was happening, and things quickly got very serious. <strong>Carlo is now undergoing months of chemotherapy which will culminate in surgery that will replace his bladder and reopen blocked pathways.</strong>

<div>The doctors have told Carlo that this is one of the most invasive surgeries they could perform, and <strong>he is looking at a solid year of recovery</strong> before feeling "back to normal."

<div>Here is the reality. <strong>Carlo and Yoshi both work in worlds that don't have paid time off or company provided Insurance.</strong> This will directly affect both of their ability to make a living for a significant length of time, and we all know that even the best insurance will not cover the full costs of procedures, treatments, recovery, and other needs along the way.
