<div> Chris aka Bubba was diagnosed 4/2018 with brain cancer right after he turned 8 yrs old. Since then he has had to have a shunt placed in his brain to help drain his cf fluids, 16 hr brain surgery to debulk some of the tumor safely and has completed 4 different chemotherapy treatments will no success on stopping tumor growth or decrease size. He has experienced a few different hospitalizations and having to be flown to the hospital because time is valuable. In the meantime and has always remained so strong and positive and recovered amazingly well! He has now experienced another tumor hemorrhage and had to be transported by helicopter to Oakland UCSF Benioff Children Hospital. Unfortunately, this hemorrhage has taken a pretty big hit on his brain and surrounding area the tumor is now pressing against. He has been in the ICU since 8/25/24, with that said this has taken an enormous hit to his family. Mentally, physically and emotionally! His mother doesn’t leave his side while he’s hospitalized and with very limited support from family due to recent passings of multiple family members that previously have been able to assist- Bubba’s  father has had  to take on the sole role of caring for his other siblings and not being able to work and bring in an income to help support the household as he usually does. Bubba is the only brother to 5 sisters older and younger and loves all of his sisters so much. It was hard for me to set up a GoFundMe account because we are not use to asking for help.. we have always figured out a way to make things work and get by.. but unfortunately after years have passed and so much loss to the family we unfortunately are not able to figure out a way to make things work this time and have to reach out for help.. Please help us help him! Neuro Surgeons believe they want to do another brain surgery to attempt to safely remove as much of the tumor as they can but unfortunately this time the risks are a little higher then before because of where the tumor has grown too. Anything helps even a prayer.. and we truly TRULY appreciate everyone’s time and support!!
