Hi, my name is Mikayla, and I created this fundraiser for my amazing boyfriend who’s been working so hard to provide for our baby girl that’s on the way. I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant. We're working to get back on our feet and purchase a vehicle to get to and from work and pay for medical bills.

My boyfriend and future father of our daughter, Brandon Martinez, started his hotshot business in September of last year to try and bring in more money. It has been a very difficult journey, and it had just started being profitable.

On Tuesday, February 18th, he was driving home after delivering a load in Oklahoma. The weather was really bad, and the black ice on the road made his truck lose traction and caused him to spin out and land in a ditch. He managed to crawl out of his vehicle, and with the help of an off-duty deputy, he called an ambulance and was rushed to a hospital. He was then discharged from the hospital later that evening with minor cuts and bruises.

I decided to start this fundraiser because he will be out of work until he’s fully recovered, and the insurance will not cover the maintenance fees. We simply want to be able to get to and from work to continue working and saving up for our family that’s soon about to start.

Anyone that knows us knows that we don’t ask for much and trust in the path that God has set forth. We are honest people and would not be asking for help unless we really needed it.
