Donate to Braids for Dave

As many of you know our dear family member Dave has been going through some major health issues. On Thursday March 29th Dave was told he has a brain tumor and needed to get surgery scheduled immediately. Dave was scheduled for Friday April 6th with lots of complications and over 7 hours of surgery and thankfully Dave made it out alive! Unfortunately due to complications during surgery and the bleeding from the tumors they could not do anymore. He still has more tumors that need to be removed and once his blood count comes back up in a few weeks they are going to try to do surgery again. He had his MRI on April 7th the day after surgery and was just told today that he has a rare form of brain cancer. Once the second surgery is done from there Dave will have to start radiation and still has a long journey ahead of him. Dave worked for Ruby Tuesdays for over 10 years and his goal in the last 2 years was to become a bus driver which he finally accomplished and is now driving for Knotts- Delcastle Vo-Tech School. Dave was so excited for this job something he really enjoyed. He was working 2 jobs for awhile Ruby Tuesdays and driving the kids just to get them ahead. They bought a nice house in Elsmere, everything was falling right in place for Dave and Crystal and there little family. In the meantime they have 4 beautiful boys that still have needs along with making sure a roof is kept over there heads and bills that need to get paid. Crystal his finance is doing the best she can but can only do so much.  Dave is in such high spirits with this and is fighting this to the end. It amazes me with the such positive attitude he has cause honestly if this were me I am just not sure if I could be like him. He is such a strong fighter and with all of our support we can and will be right by there side this entire journey. They are going to need all the help they can get. There are so many of you out there that have been so supportive since Dave and Crystal found out this devastating news.
