Donate to Bobby Cannon's Heart Recovery Journey

I'm making this GoFundMe on request of many family members and friends. My big brother Bobby Cannon had an aortic dissection on Oct 22nd, 2024, followed by a massive heart attack. Seven plus hours of vigorous measures and open-heart surgery were needed to keep him alive. Medical personnel were able to bring him back to life via LifeFlight. He had less than a 2% chance to make it. In fact, they were not very hopeful that he would make it at all. But Bobby pulled through. It's a miracle! He has spent over a week in the ICU in Dallas, Texas.

Some of you have donated privately to get me, his sister, Heat Cannon, to fly from Oregon to Texas to try to take care of his affairs. We have made many strides as he has no income or medical insurance. He now has basic medical coverage, but that does not cover any of his medication. He is on six different medications right now to keep him alive mostly, and we had to pay out-of-pocket for that. I myself am disabled and do not have a lot of resources to help my brother. I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to get him everything that he needs. But we're still lacking, and some of the basic needs for him will not be met for months until he can get approved for benefits. So I'm asking you to dig deep. Because literally anything helps. I know that's really tacky, but it's true. Anything will help. My brother has his second chance at life. This is mainly due to a genetic defect that runs deep in our male family line. He's the only one that has survived this condition that we know of. I know that he's gonna use his second chance well. May good karma come to you for helping.
