Black Arts Vancouver is a community based organization focusing on furthering the arts expression of youth in Vancouver though volunteer run workshops and exhibitions. We are looking to provide more events for the youth of Vancouver throughout the year. We are aiming to be able to host more events throughout the year for everyone to enjoy at no cost to the families.
In February and March of 2020, there will be a series of community engagement events happening in Vancouver, BC, Canada.We are an organization focused on bringing our Pan African youth, young adults and families together to experience a week of creative fun in celebration of their heritage.
Support for this community would mean that our programming would continue to expand and becoming a positive influence for more youths through art and heritage.
All proceeds go towards supplies, space rentals, and food products for feeding our participants. We provide everything, with no cost to the families. We would also be able to better support our volunteer staff and provide more helpers during our workshops, as well as daycare for the young ones who cannot participate, aged less than 4 years old.
