STOP HUNGER in Bangladesh & USA during COVID-19

As we all know, the COVID-19 lockdown is affecting many people around the world financially. Without day-to-day work, both in America and Bangladesh, people will not be able to buy food and will starve during this time. Especially those of the working class and already in poverty. In Bangladesh, the underprivileged are suffering the most during this time. They are the most vulnerable because of their living conditions and the inability to access medicine and food. They may die from starvation before they die from Coronavirus. People such as those who ride Rickshaws, cannot even afford to rent their Rickshaws for 100 taka a day, because of the lockdown, they do not make enough to even cover their rentals. In addition, with the COVID-19 lockdown is prohibiting those from even being in the streets and selling their merchandise. Garment factories are closed, and all their labor have no jobs. Housemaids who used to be of help are not allowed into their owner’s house. Children of 1971 is partnering up with Bangladesh Food Bank, founded by the Mamun Family, to help raise money for food for these underprivileged populations at this time. Food will be dropped of at local food banks for those in America. Through volunteers in Bangladesh, food will be distributed to Rickshawala’s and any other underprivileged human beings who need help at this time. Even a small donation ($5, $10, $20) can help us reach our fundraising goal at this time and feed more thousands of people in Bangladesh. $6 feeds a family of 4 for a week.
