On what was supposed to be a hopeful new beginning, Andy’s very first day on the job ended in a tragedy no one could have imagined. While working in extreme heat, Andy suffered a severe heat stroke—an event that has changed a young 22-year-olds life in an instant.

<div>Since that day, Andy has faced overwhelming medical challenges, ongoing complications, and limitations that make everyday life incredibly difficult. This event has brought overwhelming physical, emotional, and financial challenges—far more than anyone could be prepared for. Through it all, Andy has shown incredible strength, but the road ahead is long and difficult, and they cannot walk it alone.

<div>One of the biggest obstacles right now is accessibility. Andy’s current living situation is no longer safe or functional due to mobility and medical needs. They urgently need to move into a one-story, accessible home where day-to-day tasks will be manageable again. This transition is essential for safety, independence, and healing.
