Hi, if you are seeing this, chances are we have shared a moment in some way on this wondrous adventure called life.

This past year has been quite a ride already. I have been engaging on a journey of self-discovery, care, and identity. Who is Andy Bakehouse really?

I have learned a lot about myself.

I have anxiety, depression, sleep apnea, gender dysphoria, and identify as Nonbinary. I am doing some social/life spring cleaning, so to speak. Recently, I moved into an apartment by myself. The first time in a long time I have had the opportunity to live alone and do self-reflection and growth- unfortunately, living alone is not cheap in this economy.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help me get a permanent home for myself and my animal friends here in Colorado, where I am not dealing with landlords or charges that are unneeded. The current amount only focuses on the back rent and October's upcoming rent plus enough for gas and other necessities. This is just a step in the journey.

I would like to find a place that allows me to garden, have my many animals, and allows me to entertain or have guests stay overnight when needed.

My ultimate dream would be a place that could be used as a safe space for myself and my animals as well as a wayward place for anyone finding themselves in the situations that I have found myself in financially. Not a permanent home but a brief stop with someone that will listen and try to help until that person can get a job and their own place or a predetermined amount of time at no cost to them or a pay what you can depending on the situation and case by case. This place would have a dining room and wonderful kitchen, separate living areas for myself and whomever needed assistance, a Zen garden and a herb and native floral garden, a garage, and a creative workspace. If possible, bonuses would be to have a recording studio type area with music options and a cinema room. But those are bonuses.

Any donations made will only go toward funding me having a permanent home instead of dealing with renting and all that comes with it so that there is a peaceful place for me and my animal friends to relax, recharge, and self-care.
