Dear friends and family,

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Allie, an elementary school music teacher who has dedicated her life to introducing young children the joy of music. In March of 2023, Allie’s life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with stage 3c invasive ductal carcinoma. Since then, she has faced an incredibly challenging journey, including chemotherapy, radiation, a double mastectomy, and reconstructive surgery. She is also going to need to continue chemo until May of 2025 and there is the possibility of additional surgeries on the horizon. While she was able to ring the radiation bell on January 9th 2024, the financial burden of medical bills combined with daily expenses has become overwhelming.

As an educator, Allie has always put others first, giving her time and energy to her students, but now she finds herself in a position where she needs the support of her community. Allie’s life has been put on hold after an unimaginably terrifying couple of years. It is our hope that this support can help her close this chapter and move onto the next as she prepares to marry Andrew and start their lives as husband and wife. Any contributions will help her cover daily expenses, medical bills, and the costs associated with ongoing treatments and recovery.
