<div>As many of you know, my mom, Renee, went in for what was expected to be a routine procedure to remove a blood clot from her left leg on Friday, February 7th. Unfortunately, the surgery did not go as planned. After more than 12 hours in the operating room, doctors made the incredibly difficult decision to amputate her leg.

<div>Since then, it has been one setback after another. Ongoing health complications have kept her hospitalized for the past four months. Just this past week, she underwent another surgery — this time on her right leg.

We are doing everything we can to support her through this incredibly difficult time, but the financial burden is overwhelming.
