My adult son was on the sidewalk riding his bike to work and stopped at the crosswalk. When it said walk he proceeded to go. An elderly man in a big truck proceeded to turn right on red. He ran over my son dragging him 40ft before stopping. The man stated he never seen him or realized he was under the truck. Thankfully no head or internal injury. However he is covered from head to toe in cuts, bruises and road rash. His right ankle is fractured and cut open so deep and wide it was not able to be closed. He will need future surgery. He is in a boot and crutches therefore will be out of work for awhile. His bike was beyond repair. He needs help with bills and a new bike. We appreciate any help. Thanks. Share if you can.
