<div>For those that know me, know this is a hard thing to do. Ask for this kind of help.  However, the last year plus has been very rough for us.  Only getting 60% of my wages on long term disability has made it hard to keep up on all the medical bills with all the new medications. Unfortunately, I do not have a return-to-work date so I do not know how much longer I will be out.

<div>On August 28, 2023, I tested positive for COVID, when my cough was not going away but getting worse, I went back to my doctor who sent me right to the ER.  I was hospitalized for 2 days with blood clots in both lungs. The body aches and feeling exhausted has never gone away, the doctor says I am fighting long COVID.  He is also running a lot of other tests to rule out other issues. I was put through pulmonary and physical therapy, where the pains in my back got worse so they ordered an MRI of my back. I have had multiple treatments on my back with more treatment to come. With all the doctor visits and testing medical bills are adding up.  I also need to purchase a seated elliptical machine to help my strength and stamina.
